Granny Square Station
Beginning at the front of our station, you could select one of fifty different granny square cards along with a crochet hook and scissors. Next, you would move on to our selection of yarn, which boasted twenty-five different shades so that everyone could find a color pallet they liked. Now that you had your gear, you would relax and listen to a class while creating the granny square on the card you selected. Once you're done, your square gets added to the completed squares bin. Over the course of the remaining year, we are designing a blanket from these squares that will be displayed at our 2026 convention. After which, it will be donated to a women's safe house. Thank you, to those who participated!
Crocheted Art Competition
We had twelve beautiful pieces ranging from amigurumi, wearables, blankets, and more at our 2025 convention. This competition went over so well that we will definitely be bringing it back and adding room for even more entries. Thank you to our amazing participants and congratulations to the winners!
Speed Competitions
We hosted two speed competitions at our 2025 convention and the support was outstanding. One was for 'Fastest Granny Square' and the other was 'Fastest Amigurumi'. You all did an amazing job and we are excited to bring this event back for our 2026 convention! If you have more speed crochet ideas, feel free to let us know!
