About the Creator
HELLO FRIEND!
I am Hanna Niccum, owner and creator of The Cost Creations. I grew up in a loving family of nine, on a small farm in rural Indiana where my parents instilled in me the values of faith, family and a hard day's work. Throughout my childhood, and into my teen years, I began to create these values into tangible items that reflected what I had learned, and I gifted to those I loved. I have been blessed with a creative and curious mind; always wondering what's beyond the next river bend, or over the next hill. Because of this, I have dabbled in many hobbies that have taken me everywhere from music, to woodworking and beyond. Even though each new craft came with a new set of skills and a new set of items to gift away, I continued climbing that next hill to see what was on the other side.
In the early spring of 2022, I married the love of my life and joined him in Southern Ohio, where I was welcomed with open arms by my new in-laws. Within our first year of marriage, my mother-in-law noticed my need to create and so she taught me a skill that she herself, had been perfecting since the age of twelve. Crochet! I made my first item, which was a cotton hot pad for my new kitchen and I was completely hooked!
I soon learned how to make the most adorable keepsake plushies and soon had way too many, even to gift away! I was swimming in turtles of every color and began to look for an outlet. The local mercantile I worked for was more than willing to allow me to sell my plushies at their place and that's where it all started in the fall of 2023. I figured one would be purchased occasionally, so you can imagine my surprise when I went to check on my little creations three hours after opening our doors that first Saturday morning and the entire bin I had filled was completely sold out! Every last one! Through restocking and seeing my plushies go home with their new families, I got to be a witness to all of the smiles from the children, teens, and even adults that my plushies received. These smiles showed me the memories being made for these other families and have inspired me to expand my passion of gifting lasting keepsakes beyond my little corner of the world. These smiles of joy and the memories they are making are what I continue to chase with each new creation.

what is the COST?
Throughout my years of crafting, I have had many people ask me how much time I put into making an item and how much did it cost to make. I knew when I started a company that I wanted folks to understand what went into each creation they picked up and to have those questions answered for them. With that in mind, I designed a price tag giving all the specifications on each individual item and, just like that, The Cost Creations was born!
As I studied the name more and more, it dawned on me that I could also share with my customers the ultimate cost that has ever been paid in the history of mankind. The item was God's forgiveness of the many sins each of us commit so that we might spend eternity in Heaven worshiping our Creator. The cost was the death of God's one and only Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
"For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect."
